I used Jive instead. Both Jive and Snagit were rendered inoperable by the latest update of Yosemite for the Mac. I snooped around a little and found that you can replicate what Jive did with QuickTime. I used to use Camtasia for this but the price tag drove me away. Recordings show a black screen with a blinking cursor.

Here we (should) see organization wide Enterprise Social Networks like Jive and Yammer, etc. Personally, without my own org, I tap into external communities using tools like LinkedIn groups (there’s one for the L&D Revolution, BTW!), and Facebook (mostly friends, but some from our own field).
