Not All Micro-Learning is Created Equal

ej4 eLearning

The same advice applies to the trend of micro-learning. The slogan behind micro-learning endeavors are “shorter is better.” This is true, to a certain extent. Some vendors and educators are taking this to extremes without truly investigating the ideal length of learning material.

People are more disengaged than ever. A poll by the Gallup organization estimates that in 2015, “the majority (50.8%) of employees were ‘not engaged,’ while another 17.2% were ‘actively disengaged’.” “Actively disengaged” is one of my favorite phrases.
